We at IAL Centre for Workplace and Learning Innovation created this Microsite with the sole purpose of proliferating innovations in the Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector. We are building this online TAE community to grow the learning innovation eco-system such as communities of practice, learning innovation exchanges, networking, ideations and collaborations.

Successes
Lithan Academy, a training provider, adopts innovation blended learning delivery. Winning the innovPlus propel Lithan Academy to prototype a learning solution, known as Virtual Mentor, giving intelligent interventions and mentoring support to enhance delivery outcomes and plug learning performance gaps.
Matchub develop an Al-powered platform that matches talents with companies using an intelligent job matching algorithm that based on individual career aspirations, personality and soft skills.
The Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA) is the primary educational and training facility of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. SAA signed up for the InnovDev to have our course developers to work on transforming two proposed courses and to be the bridge connecting IAL's consultant and SAA's subject-matter experts (SMEs).
Special Projects
Learning innovation research is paramount to the TAE sector. We want to grow a strong research in andragogical innovation. To build on our research, IAL has plans to develop a research translation stream and create a common space for co-developing, trialing and experimentation by IAL and its partners. Our current projects include:
Leveraging Productive Failure (PF) for Adult Learning
The project calls on a select group of Adult Educators to co-develop a framework / toolbox / guideline on PF (Productive Failure) for Adult Learning through insights and findings from designing and trialing PF interventions in real learning environments. Interested participants will be selected based on the diversity required in the project.
